Privacy Protocol
Effective Date: May 1, 2026 | Web • Android • iOS
1. Introduction
Vyrit (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered journaling and behavioral insight platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your data within our neural
memory interface. By using Vyrit, you agree to the practices described in this document.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years or older to use this Service. If you are under 18, you
should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian. >We do not knowingly collect data from
children under 13. If such data is found, it will be deleted.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Account Information
- Email address for unique identity node creation.
- Authentication tokens (JWT) to maintain secure sessions.
3.2 User Content (“Engrams”)
- Textual journal entries and memories.
- Voice inputs (transcribed locally where hardware supports).
- System-generated tags, sentiment scores, and behavioral metadata.
3.3 Technical Data
- Device type, hardware specifications, and system logs.
- Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics to optimize kernel performance.
4. Data Processing Architecture
Edge-First Intelligence
Our architecture utilizes On-Device AI. Your most sensitive data—voice recordings and thought patterns—are processed locally without ever leaving your hardware during analysis.
- Local Neural Engine: Voice transcription (Whisper), sentiment analysis, and Large Language Model (LLM) synthesis occur 100% locally using your device's GPU/CPU.
- Cloud Synchronization: We use Supabase for encrypted storage and multi-device sync. While data is stored in the cloud, it is protected by industry-standard encryption.
- Zero-Cloud AI: Unlike traditional apps, Vyrit does NOT send your private entries to external AI APIs (like OpenAI or Groq) for synthesis. Your "Neural Synapse" is generated on-device.
- Encryption: All sensitive data is protected using AES-GCM encryption. Warning: Vyrit is a private-first application. We cannot recover lost accounts if encryption keys are destroyed.
5. How We Use Data
- To provide core journaling and neural search functionality.
- To generate personalized behavioral insights and patterns.
- To improve system performance and security.
CRITICAL: We do NOT sell your personal data or memories to third-party advertisers or
data brokers.
6. Legal Basis (Global Compliance)
We process data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023
and GDPR principles based on:
- Explicit User Consent.
- Legitimate Interest (operating and securing the service).
- Legal Obligations.
7. Data Sharing
We share data only with necessary infrastructure partners:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase (Database, Auth, and Encrypted Storage).
- Model Repositories: AI models are downloaded from HuggingFace and MLC-AI. No user data is sent to these repositories; they are used solely for downloading the engine weights.
We do NOT share data with marketing or third-party AI inference providers.
8. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States or other secure jurisdictions. We ensure
compliance through standard contractual clauses and end-to-end encryption protocols.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
- Data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Upon triggering the "TERMINATE IDENTITY" protocol in settings, your local cache and
cloud records are permanently purged (subject to standard backup cycles).
10. Your Rights
Within the Vyrit interface, you may:
- Access: View all stored Engrams and metadata.
- Correct: Edit or update any entry.
- Export: Download your data in a portable format.
- Delete: Wipe specific entries or your entire identity.
12. AI Transparency
- AI outputs (Insights/Summaries) are probabilistic and may be inaccurate.
- These features do not constitute medical, therapeutic, or professional advice.
- Always verify AI-generated summaries against your original entries.
13. Third-Party Services
Vyrit integrates third-party APIs. We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of these
providers. We recommend reviewing the policies of Supabase and our AI partners.
14. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the kernel or legal landscape. Continued use of
Vyrit following updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
